THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US
In Jesus, the Son of God did not simply become like a human being, or take only the visible form of a human being. God became a human being a pitched his tent among us. Christ, true God and true man, continues to dwell among us in his word and sacrament, and in all who make up his body.
