BIBLE Study &
DISCUSSION

Scripture always has played an important role in the prayer life of the Catholics.  Ordinary Catholics are exposed to Scripture through the Readings and Gospels of Holy Mass. This group meets weekly (Thursdays 7:30pm) in the Narthex to study and discuss the Bible in greater detail.

Children's
Liturgy

Each Sunday a Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered at the 10am mass. Each week we look at the weekly Gospel, offering the children insights and a message from the Gospel. The children (1 - 9 years old) are encouraged to do small activities, sing songs and help with the offertory. The group has become a great way for both children and parents to connect. We encourage children and any volunteers to come and join us in the Narthex on Sunday.

CHILDREN SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION & catechism

The parish offers sacramental classes for children attending non-Catholic schools in preparation for receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation (Year 3 or above), Holy Communion (Year 4 or above) and Confirmation (Year 6 or above). The classes usually take place on Saturday afternoons in the Narthex for 1 hour and are run during the school term for 7-10 weeks (depending on term dates).

(Infant) Baptism

Through the waters of Baptism the child enters into the life of God - Father, Son and Spirit. The child is dedicated to God and all that is good. Parents and Godparents have important responsibilities in the formation of the growing child.
Baptism is offered in 3 parts:
- A preparation evening for parents and godparents is usually held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
- A welcoming mass is held at the 10am mass on the 1st Sunday of each month.
- The baptism is on the 2nd Sunday of each month after the 10am mass.
We aim to make the baptism, a meaningful beginning to your child's faith journey.

Registration is required. Please contact the parish office for any other information.

MOTHERS PRAYERS'

Mothers Prayers' was launched in England in 1995 by two grandmothers, Veronica and Sandra. Through prayer they learned that Jesus wishes all mothers to surrender their children into His care, to take away pain from the mothers and to pour blessings on their children. Mothers Prayers' has spread throughout the world. Mothers Prayers' currently meets twice a week in the Narthex (Mon 7pm).
